TCS question
Thanks
do i still have a sort of traction control? that can be disabled..cuz its not as ez to spin the tires
as my old 94 lt1..but...that motor had more torque i believe down low
In cars without traction control, you don't have the traction control switch, and you don't have the wiring and other required parts in the rear end of the car. There's also compenents missing in the engine related to traction control, some kind of big black module. (The WS6 has traction control, the Firehawk doesn't...so I've seen the differences I've listed.)
On 98-02 fbodies, traction control was an option. As far as I know it wasn't standard on any model. I think it just ended up being a pretty standard option that got ordered on a lot of models though when they were built/ordered by the dealers.
If you're car doesn't have the switch, no need to worry about getting the module from SLP.
I think I got all your questions answered and all the bases covered there in my reply...
