Prob Starting help

Prob Starting help I hope this is the right place to post this, but since it got cold my car has had a lot of trouble starting. The first night it had problems it was about 35 degrees out and i kept crankin and crankin and she wasnt even trying to start. id say i cranked it over a total of around 20 seconds before it finally fired and started. Today it did it again, it wasn't as cold and didnt take as long to start. it still took longer than it should though. Now about 4 days ago it through a code for emissions the guy at auto zone said he couldnt clear it gm would have to and he couldnt tell me what part of my emissions. That code did however go off 2 days later so it wasn't on when i had problems starting. My car doesnt ever misfire on me when im driving it. I kinda think my car isnt getting enough fuel, but id have no idea why. Any help is greatly appreciated because im not sure if my car is going to start tonight to get me home and to work in the morning. Thanx, Matt
I would go somewhere else and get it scanned. If he couldn't tell you specifically what the code was, he wasn't qualified to read the book that comes with the scanner that lists them. <_< You might want to look into getting your own cheapie code scanner. I got one off ebay for 30 bucks, made by C-Tools. The display gives you a code number that you look up in a booklet it comes with. Works great, helped me track down which 02 was going bad.
If it won't start on it's on, try hitting the gas peddle to open the throttle butterfly while you crank it. Your iac could be going out.......I think our cars have one of those.

I was gonna take it to another place but the code went off so i can't. I forgot to mention i did hit the gas a few times while cranking it over and no change, i also tried holding the gas full throttle and no change. Also haha what does iac stand for? Thanx
