Default Spark Plugs

Hey fellas I was just wondering how often I should change my plugs and wires. I swapped the stock ones for some NGK's and Taylor wires on my first cam install around 15K. I recently did another cam install and the car has 52K on it. Should I go ahead and change them out? Thanks.

I hear that some plug's and wire's are good for 50k but if it was me id change them every 30k just to be safe.

With the copper NGKs you're probably better off changing them every 10 or 15k just to get peak performance. I change mine twice a year (about every 8-10k) It only takes me 45min to do a plug change though.

If they are comming out anyway, change them. If not once a year as preventative maintainance.

I did my first plug and wire change at 72k, i bought the car with 69k, and It had all original plugs in it, and most of the plugs had no platinum left on the top so i think all but two had gaps of .70+

Second that. If you ever think of trying something different, may want to look into E3 plugs. Recently was gonna replace my plugs & wires with NGK's & Taylors & decided to go with E3's & Magnecore's instead. Am very happy with the results. The NGK/Taylor combo is a good choice & am not suggesting otherwise. After looking into plugs & wires, felt as though E3's & Magnecores were a better choice for me.
