vibration coming from the driver side floorboard
All right, I've been trying to find someone with this same problem to no avail. I have a 98 T/A A4. When I accelerate slowly from a stop, I can hear and feel vibration coming from the driver side floorboard. I looked underneath the car and the only thing I can see is the exhaust. Yet the bolts were tight. Can someone help? I have no idea what this is.

Have someone slowly rev it up and down, while you are looking underneath. Chances are your exhaust is getting close to something and rattling off of it. You'll be amazed by how much the engine, driveline and exhaust move around under there while under load.
