Default Weird Electrical Problem...

I have the oddest thing happening. Almost everytime I start my car I hear a click from behind the dash and my guages all go nuts for a minute and then go back to normal. My trip on the odometer also clears out each time. All the guages basically go as far as they can clockwise when the click noise happens and then slowly go back to normal. It's not that big of a deal I guess but it is really starting to get on my nerves bc I like to watch my "trip" for gas mileage.

I dont know about the "click", but the gauge sweep is often an indication of a weak battery.

Yep, battery or at least something draining the battery. Does it usually happen only when the car sits for awhile?
