Windshield replacement I have rock damage to my '99 Z28 windshield. I'm covered by insurance with no dect. for windshield replacement but I'm more worried about the brand and quailty used to replace it.
The stock windshield is LOF brand, I've heard of PPG brands and even when I called up safelite glass, they told me their brand is "safelite"
I just want the replacement windshield to be as stock or better in quailty.

Make sure that the effers are careful when they are removing the drivers side wiper arm. The tech that did mine from Safelite AutoGlass broke the bracket that stabalizes the arm when moving, I watched him from my window at work when he broke it. He then tried to deny it by saying it was already broken.
(I am describing the bracket underneath all the plastic that hold the wiper motor)
