Default Daytime running lamp question

I recently had my passenger side daytime running lamp changed (socket and housing) on my '99 T/A. I noticed that when the headlights are on it turns off, and when I set the alarm it doesn't flash like it used to. Could it be that a fuse is blown, or did the shop that I took it to forget to do something?

Sounds like they may have either used the wrong bulb, the wrong socket, or wired it wrong. The DRLs use the brighter filament in the bulb (same one used for the blinker/hazards), but when you turn the headlights on the bulb switches to the dimmer filament (parking lights). That same dimmer filament is also the one that should flash when the alarm sets. If the bulb is not lighting only under the conditions when the dimmer filament should be in action (headlights, alarm set), then I'd start by trying a new bulb.
