When my car is started cold (35* outside) it drives really funny until its warmed up, like going 70mph its at 3000rpms, and shifts at higher rpms on normal driving, also, yesterday morning first time i hit the gas it moved very slowly for how much i had the gas down, but once it got to operating temp it runs like a champ, any ideas?
Sounds like the trans is slipping a bit when cold, also apperently the TC is not locking if you're doing 3000rpm @70MPH assuming you have stock tire diameter and stock 2.73 or 3.23 gears.
Even stock TC's will not lock untill the trans reaches a certain temp, which is unrelated to engine temp. I make the same commute every day. I can almost tell you within half a mile where its going to lock up based on outside temp that morning. lol!
However it does sound like your trans is slipping. When is the last time you checked, replaced the fluid/filter ect?

Which part means its slipping? The fluid and filter was done maybe 10k ago, and it was rebuild 35k ago, it doesnt get beat on too much, and it just got tuned, would they have been able to tell if it was slipping or not? Also this only happens when it is really cold out and the car isnt warmed up, once its warm it runs perfectly, it also shifts firm at every gear, i thought if it was slipping it'd bang the limiter going into 3rd
