heating up on the highway

not sure why but my car has always ran hotter then other lt1s even stock... im running a csi pump, 160 stat and for some reason it heats up on the highway, my gauge sits at a little over half way, and my computer is seeing around 210.
kind of backwards dont you think?

i've put two different temp sensors in it so i dont think thats the problem

Well just to give you fair warning my car did the same thing what it ended up being 2 trash bags got stuck in between the ac condenser and radiator where i couldnt see it just from looking from the bottom, I had to take off the plastic radiator support on top and peek in between the ac condenser and radiator

Is you air dam on and and not cracked? Is all the other plastic baffling in place?

You dont have ground effects do you?

yep air damn is on and in good shape... i pulled the ac but i dont think that would effect air flow.

My 96 ws6 runs that hot as well. In fact, after it warms up it never runs below 210 no matter what. It runs perfectly though and the fans turn on when it gets too hot so I don't worry about it.
