Failed emissions test

Failed emissions test Passed everything, except for stupid emissions test. Want me to come back in 2 days and try again. Anyway to pass it before having to repair it? I got a new clutch installed yesterday, and the O2 sensor in the rear was messed up, like it wouldnt go back into the cat, so they disabled it and completely removed it from my computer and everything, said you didnt need it. Well, do I need it? Any way to sneak pass stupid NJ emissions laws, which suck royaly I may add....

Did you fail a sniffer test or an OBD scan test? If you failed a scan test, and it was due to a "not ready/incomplete" status, then the DTC may have been removed improperly from the PCM when your tuning was done. There are different ways of turning off an SES light for a particular DTC, and if it was done wrong then the PCM test for that DTC will never complete and the OBD system will never pass an EPA scan. Different tuning software or versions/revisions will have different terms or options for doing this sort of thing. I'd go back to the tuner and have them recheck what they did.
