asr and abs lights?

asr and abs lights?

My wife was driving the Z28 home and she said that the ASR and the ABS lights just cams on whiledriving normal? Maybe a fuse that runs both sensors? Any clues or guesses??

It may go away on its own, mine did, thought I'd screwed something up majorly
You can check the sensors/connectors/wires at the wheels, see if anything obvious jumps out at you

hmmm... I did some searching and I think I'll do just that. Wait and see.... This car is just full of surprises... Not good oned either... as my first f-body, this one is not impressing me.

She was doing a big burn out and she thought she broke it when the lights came on.

yeah... wellI finally got under the car this morning and the left sensor came out fine but was pretty dirty so I cleaned it and reinstalled it, then when I went to unbolt the other sensor on the pass. side, I noticed the bolt was a few threads out. HmmmMM! I pulled the sensor out and it looks like the sensor had become so loose that it was making contact with the gear on the axle! It was slightly flat on one side, but once I put it back in, no lights came on! Does any one know how tight those bolts need to be? The metal they screw into feels like threading a bolt into aluminum, but looks like iron. I REALLY don't want to strip out that sensor bolt hole.
