Blown horn?
Blown horn? I just noticed that when I honked the horn, it only sounds like half of it is making noise,
do they burn out? and if so how hard is it to replace?

They get wet and the lower pitched horn, which I bet is the one thats out, has to dry out.
Do a search and you can find that there is a splash gaurd, I just read something about it a few days ago. Or just wait until it drys out.

Both of mine burned out a couple of years ago. They are down low and kind of a pia to replace. Try to find used ones if possible. They interchange with lost of gm cars. Dealer price sucks.

My lower pitched horn has been out for quite a while. I bought a replacement from AutoZone and it lasted all of ten seconds. Anyone know where I could pick up one loud horn to replace the two horn system that these cars have? When I say loud I mean somewhere between the afforementioned locomotive horn and the wimpy *** horn sound I have now.

The horn in my 99 camaro has been "half out" for a couple of weeks now. It happened about a year or two ago as well, and my dad messed around under the hood and fixed it just jigglin stuff around. I'm off at college and have been too lazy to look myself, but my friend says it's just a loose wire or something.
I should go take a look at it right now as a matter of fact, brb with results!
