So simple, and yet so frustrating !

You know the little light bulbs that illuminate the window & door lock buttons ?

I can twist the socket out of the door no problem -

how the HELL do you get the bulb out of it's holder ?

The Haynes I have shows the bulb as being similar to what is used for the tranny sector (A4) , and they say it just pulls out.

Well - they ain't met my bulb !

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I've had a few of those "melt" the plastic a bit and actually broke the bulb removing it.

IIRC, you also have to twist it.

change it to a red led it lights up so much more
