car idles high

car idles high yesterday i went to start my car and nothing, not even a click. i jump it and it started right up but the idle was around 2200 and wouldnt drop below unless i would put it into gear and begin to engage the clutch. the car did seem to run fine while driving except when i would shift it would have a slight rise in rpms (w/o pressing the gas). i did check my tb and the cable and everything looked to be fine. plz help if you have any idea

Usually there is a relearn period after power to the PCM is disrupted. But the idle should return to normal after some driving and a restart or two. There is also an OBD idle re-learn proceedure you can do to speed the process, but it should relearn on it's own with some driving and re-starts.
Is it still doing it? Are you getting any SES light? Done any recent mods or replaced any parts lately?
