Start up after a year

Start up after a year I will be getting my car back shortly and it has been down since december of 04. I know I need to drain the fuel tank but what is the best way to do it? Should I syphon (sp?) the fuel out or drop the tank and do it that way? Also, what else do I need to do before I crank it up?

Well, dropping the tank would be the best way,
but not the easy way.
If you can activate the pump at will you can keep
dumping fresh fuel in and flush the system (with
the fuel line disconnected).
Or, my way, just see if it will crank & run. Add some
injector cleaner and add a fresh tank of gas and run the
$hit out of it after some careful warm up driving.
Then consider an oil change after a bit.
After that you may have to change the fuel filter & plugs,
maybe shoot some TB cleaner in (at the TB, not before the
MAF).

If it's "NONYA" then that's cool.

lol...yeah I wrecked it and have kinda been taking my time finding parts to do the conversion. I should have everything here in a couple of weeks and then the fun begins.
