I'm having some issues with backfiringm(through exhaust), always have but now more noticable than ever because of exhaust leaks. Any suggestions on how to run a little leaner to prevent this?

Your timing is off... what kinda car is it? Well I take that back... What have u done to the car. If you didnt adjust the valves right it will do it. There is alot that comes into play... Post up what you have done to the car, and type of motor.

Well, I have Cartek S2 H/C, Cartek programming, mac headers and orypipe. I think I didn't explain the situation properly and made it sound worst than it is, the backfiring is only after i rev it up and let off the throttle. Its doesn't do it when its wide open or even driving normal, its only when the engine is slowing down after reving it. I think its because the tune is too rich...any ideas?
