Default car not wanting to start

Ok im lost. I did a header install back in April and all was well until about a month or 2 ago. Now the car is not wanting to start all the time. I will start the car and if i drive lets say to get gas or wherever and shut the car off and leave it off for 5-15 minutes and then try to start the car again it doesnt want to start.

It acts like it is flooded. I have to push the gas pedal all the way down to the floor while cranking and then it will start. It will then rev up to about 1500 rpms and stay there for a few seconds and then come back down to normal and drive fine.

Now if the engine is off for lets say 30 minutes and i try to restart it, it acts like it is choking for air and will spit and sputter. I can give it gas and it start driving and it will be fine after that.

It will start right up if it has been sitting for a couple of hours

Just wondering if you guys had any suggestions on what it could be.

Yes but it only throwing 2 codes.

1. The EGR, which i know is going to be thrown cause i removed it when the headers were put on

2. Whatever the code is for the Stock Water Tempature gauge not working. But thats cool too cause i have an aftermarket one working fine.

Thats the only codes being thrown.
