Default Lowering and tires scrubbing

My car has a Eibach Sportline kit on it and the guy who had it before me put really narrow tires (235s) on the front of it. I'm about to put some 275/40s back on it like what it came with stock. Are they going to scurb considering how low the car is?

I asume that your not actually talking about tire wear and are talking about the tire making contact with the inner wheel well. My tires hit when cornering and I removed my fender liners. My wheels did have a good amount of offset though, so depending on the wheel they may not hit so bad.

Yes, I'm talking about when I turn the wheel and it scrubbing the inner fender. I'm still on the stock SS wheels.

You might be alright. Worst case senario is that you just cut out the small part of the plastic where it rubs. That's better than rollin on 235s.

You should be fine...im dropped on 18's w/ 275 35's and only when i hit a nasty bump or pot hole do i notice any rubs on the outer side of the tires...but no biggie though. You'll be good on stock rims
