Does time vs. miles make a difference? I have an 02 with 27,000 miles. Does the fact that the car is 4 yrs old matter or is it strictly a miles issue?

I replace my tr55's once a year whether they need it or not. The car only sees less than 3k miles a year, but most of it's very "spirited" .

Not sure about the stock LS1 plugs, I always pull them right away and put in NGK TR55s.

TR55s should last 25-30K miles.

I went over 125k on my original plugs. it still ran fine and never saw any drop in fuel mileage. I decided to change them because I heard that the plugs could seize up in the aluminum heads and do damage trying to get them out. mine were tough to break loose, but once they were loose they spun right out. AC Delco platinums, anti-seize compound, dielectric grease on the plug boots and I should be set for another 100k (which the car will never see because it stays in the garage now).
