ok so I pulled my starter the other day, and I just finished putting everything back. I go to connect the battery and get a big *** spark off the negative when I am connecting it, and all of a sudden the motor tries to crank over, so I pulled the wire off and now i'm a little spumped. this happen to anyone else?

no, but i would DEF. make sure you hooked everything up right. Its either a crossed wire, or a switch/relay stuck closed.

Same thing happened when I was working on my buddys car it started right up.
