my speedometer is by 8 mph and i dont know y i have a 94 z28 and the tires are 255/50/16 and i know that they r suppose to be 245/50/16 could anyone tell me what else it could be or could it be becaues my tire is wider but that shouldnt cause a problem

i forgot to mention that the owner before me put a indglo face gauges and i dont know it from the north but someone told me that some of the 94 z's from the north had lower top speed gauges and the indglo gauge has a 150 top speed i havnt taken it off yet but has any one herd of this
