engine problem?

Default engine problem?

i pree the gas and now my enigne makes lieka whisping sound then i herar the roar of my exgust, also it kinda sounds like a fan or something because i was just crushing o in my 97 black z witha manga flow cat back and 2002 ss rims and all of a sudden this noise starts to go on! Please help me!

ok i ment to say was when i press the gas it makes a whiping soud ni the engine,then i hear the roar of my exgust, could it be the belt going out? I need help now!

Could the sound better be described as a "sucking in air" sound? Could be your intake just doing its job. If you pop your hood you can hear it clearly.

ok it soudn like a whiring sound, some ppl say it could be a leak in the manifold ,or air coming straight out of the block
