On the car I just got (95 Formula) whenever I make a tight turn there is a very high pitched squeak. It isn't continuous, it occurs a few times during the turn and only lasts an instant each time. Sounds kind of like a brake squeak but it's not that since it only does it when turning and it doesn't matter if the brakes are engaged or not.

Any ideas?

Oh it isn't that loud either, I have to roll down the windows and be in a quiet place to hear it.

 

Check your power steering fluid....
