long tubes killin my o2s Keep throwin codes for the fronts. Anyway to fix it? Will tuning help? I tried different 02's so it's not the sensors. Anyone with similar problems. I thought about using widebands but have heard that the pcm will not read the signal. And I also have no idea about widebands. One for each side? No problems untill the long tube install.
Have you tried the vette rears, bosch 13111, they have a stronger heater, and can often help cure the o2 blues.
The other way is to have a tune done, and set the SES light to not illuminate when the o2s go out of spec

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I just put LT's on mine, and got rid of the AIR system. So now the SES light is on and is going to be on until I have the AIR system deleted from my computer. The AIR system puts air into the exhaust manifold(or headers) and makes sure the front O2 sensors pick it up and change the air/fuel ratio to compinsate. So now that I don't have that hooked up anymore, the computer still thinks its putting air into the exhaust when its not. So the computer thinks the air/fuel ratios should change, but they don't. So the SES light comes on because it thinks the front O2 sensors are bad, but they're not.

You need your front o2's for the car to run right in closed loop.So,no you cant just turn them off.Unless you have speed density tuning done.Which isnt practical for most people.You can tune out the rear o2's,but thats it.
Like other people already said,just get the Vette rears and put them up front.Its not a guarantee,but they should solve your issues.
+1 for the rear o2's for a vette. when i was using O2 extentions i was throwing codes all the time and it was throwing off my tune also. i've had the vette sensors in for a little over a month and no codes
