car acting wierd

car acting wierd hey guys i have a problem with my car. the car was fine all day and i drove about 100 miles with no drama then out of no where the ses light comes on then i stoped at the post office and shut off the car then cranked it back up about 1 min later then the light was off the after i put it in drive and took off ithe idle went to like 500 then it went up and down from 500 to about 800 the it felt like it wanted to stall but it dident.
it's not missing or hesitateing after the rpms are above 900-1000 it runs perfect.
and i drove it a bit more then it was fine and i was like 60 miles from home and it dident do it any more.
any ideas?????????????????
i dont have any ses light so im stumped

p.s. i had this posted in the pcm and diagnostics section but i dident know if it was the right one.

Best thing to do here is go to autozone or advance and have them read your OBDII. It should tell you what the stored code is. Your symptoms could be caused by a host of many things. An OBDII scan outta help you out a lot. Let us know what it tells you.
