Clutch squealing

Clutch...Basic Tech Question Last year I drove through a pretty bad rainstorm and then about a week later I heard throw-out bearing noise intermittently. I wouldn't really hear it during shifts, but if I were at a stop sign with the pedal pushed in it would have a high pitch squealing/grinding. The noise would vary as the RPM would vary (revving it). I figured I had to do a clutch job to replace it. That lasted for a few weeks 
Then the noise went away 
Could it be that it formed rust and then wore the rust away?
It is all fine and dandy now at normal easy driving. But, if I get on it real hard and "power shift" (1-2 shift) it squeals shifting into 2nd (not sure 3-4, 4-5 ect...).
I'm not quite sure now if it is the syncros (speed gears) or the throw-out bearing making the noise? Car has 50,000 miles and hasn't had a trans fluid change that I know of.
If anybody knows what I am talking about, let me know what ya think.
Also, do you think I should switch to Royal Purple ATF for the M6?, What about the clutch, would a Centerforce be recommended for a mild upgrade?

I had a nissan 300z before my camaro and it did the same thing. The squeeling at stop lights ect.. It was the throw out bearing. It ended up doing it every time I had the clutch in. I would pull the trans and take a look at it. As far as a clutch my ram has been great (not the centerforce). Fluid I used GM syncromesh. Works great. If you want other opinions on fluid look in the manual trans section there was a poll on what fluid to use.
