random egine misfire

random egine misfire I just put in a set off pace setter long tube headers with off-road y-pipe and O2 simson my 02 ws6 and everything went back together nicely, but when I started the car up I was getting crazy backfires. and when I would get into higher rpms the SES light would flash. I read the code and it said multiple cylinder random misfires. I cant find what the hell the problem is. 
please tell me I stupid and missing something simple and cheap. any help would be great

It should be something simple and cheap. Plugs and wires. you most likeley took them off to put the headers on and when you put them back in the wires were not put in all the way. I had the same problem last time I did mine. if you have msd or taylor wires make sure you hear them snap or pop into place. I would pull all of them off check the plug and makje sure they are snug then put the wires back on

Yep, check the plugs and wires.
You likely cracked one when you installed the headers (it doesn't take much)
Either that, or one or more of the wires aren't fully seated on the plugs or coil packs (2 clicks for the coil, and one click for the plug)

I had the same code few days ago , I changed plugs and wires and I am waiting for someone to do me the scan tomorow , seems to me the engine run smoother and SES light went off.
the codes I got was P0300 & P0200 .

I had a PO300/307, even though I had brand new plugs and wires; plugs gapped properly. I went back and rechecked the #7 wire and it had already cracked/melted (I'm talking like 4 days)... I think that caused the plug to foul, point being, check your plugs/wires, that's where my problem was.
