Question Switch wiring question

I had to remove the front panel and radio yesterday to change the fuse for my CD changer. When I pulled off the panel, I had to disconnect the wiring harness for my fog light switch, but there was also a wiring harness connected to the second switch position next to fog light switch. However, there is not an actual switch there, just the first one for the fog lights. Does anyone know what this wiring is for or where it goes? The third switch position had nothing connected to it, just as I expected.

If you check under your hood, look at the throttle body. If you have only 1 cable attached to the TB, then you have ASR (traction control). If you have two cables, throttle and cruise, you don't have ASR. Sometimes people will get rid of the switch because they don't like the ASR and they'll fix the wiring to where it won't engage at start. More than likely you don't have ASR but all wiring harnesses were basically built the same so that explains the excess wiring above the stereo.
