Door Gap looks bigger
Door Gap looks bigger I glanced at my car, and noticed the gap between the passenger door and the front quarter panel looked kinda big. So I measured it and it is considerably bigger than the drivers side gap. Don't know if it was already like that, but I just noticed it. Does anyone else have this problem or know what caused it? How can it be repaired? Thanks

Your doors maybe suffering from wear on the hinges. I've seen it on a few of the higher mileage cars I was looking at over the years. When standing at the front of the car, does it look like the bottom (or lower half) of the door is coming out, almost like its acting like a catch vent or something? The doors still felt solid on a silver z28 I had test driven, but when I lifted from the bottom of the door edge near the back of the car when the door was open, there was some movement.
Not a whole lot of power, just lid and catback. The door wasn't loose, and the car has about 40,000 miles on the clock, so it;s not very high mileage.
After doing some searching I figure, it has something to do with my side skirt being cracked. My bro. ran it up on a curb and it slammed down on the side skirt, cracking it. and what holds it there.
Has anyone had this problem and fixed it, or no if it can be fixed after I get a new side skirt? Thanks

You mean the back side of the fender is sticking out? Happened to me when put on a lift - I removed the two screws and just bent the tab back where the fender connects to the subframe.
