BIG problem with my torque arm mount!!!!
Just had the car changed over to an M6. About a day or two after I picked the car up, a bad clunking noise could be heard whenever I let out the clutch or had the clutch pushed in and released the brake while slowing down. Got under the car this weekend and found out the front of the torque arm was not connected. Ok, so I got a little pissed about it, thinking those guys at the shop just didn't tighten the bolt down. Well, after looking closer at it, the bolt had been ripped out of the transmission housing and the TA bracket is bent down!
I am clueless as to how this happened. Please help me! I don't want to tap out the hole and put in a new bolt until I know how it happened, because it will just happen again. Any ideas????

i have a question for you tho, how much did it cost to put a m6 in..tranmission and installation the total?? Just Interested, as I am a A4 driver

I don't think another bracket is made for it. I haven't heard of this being a problem for other people, so it had to be some sort of freak thing. I just wanna find out what it was.
Parts: $2000
Labor:$1700
Worth it? Hell yeah.....until the TA bracket broke!
