Time for a coolant change, info needed. I need to change my coolant, I think it's original and my ride is a 2000, it's kinda stinky and discolored.
I bought some dexcool but wanna know how I should do this.
The bottle says to just use clean drinking water, shouldn't I use distilled water that's mineral free?
And should I just open the valve at the bottom of the radiator, drain and refill, or should I flush the whole system, is there a drain plug on the block somewhere I need to open?

Open the valve at the bottom of the radiator and let it drain. There's really no way to get all of the coolant out unless you sit there with a hose and run the car until it's clear water, but then you've got crappy water in there. So after it's drained just pour in a 50/50 mix of dexcool and distilled water.
