Default Quick Question? HELP!!!!

I bought a 94 Camaro Z28 CHEAP!!!! only 70xxx miles on it... It runs like it is not firing all cylenders.... Could it be the OPTI spark?? The car had a water leak also.. It was leaking water out of the thermastat housing and running down the back of the Water pump. On to the opti... Who knows how long it has been doing that... Could the opti act like that? ( like it not firing all cylenders) ... I have herd that when the opti is messed up it just straight up goes out.. Is that true??

It can go out all at once, or the performance can degrade over time.
I'd fix the leak, then replace the opti, chances are that'll fix the problem
Remember water and optispark don't mix

If the water pump went south, it likely leaked water all over the optispark and took it down too.

I was thinking what octane said, you have a water leak b/c your water pump is bad. So now you need a new optispark and you would be golden
