Default High rev, then wants to Stall!???!

How come ever since I put my LTs on, anytime I rev the engine around 3500 rpms, it'll drop to under 500 rpms and try to stall on me? It's done it for 2 years now.

Got it tuned, used the copper gaskets, and no leaks....

Sounds to me as if your idle tuning was incorrect from the start. Mikey @ Rapid did my header install and tune (along with H/C) the idle ended up slightly higher than stock due to the cam - but other than that it is perfect. Never had any idle 'hunting' issues or problems such as you speak of.

I'd try looking at that tune agian first before tearing things apart...

Thanks, guys. I'm at a loss. The tune was done by Jeff Creech at CAM in Durham. He is considered as one of the best LS1 tuners around. The car runs great. It's just when people say "Rev that thang up dude!" I rev it and the rpms drop real low and it stumbles. Who knows.
