Bleeding cooling system

as in with the bleeding screws. are you supposed to this when the engine is on or off? and hot temps or when its cold? thx

With the car running just open the bleeders until coolant comes out and then tighten them.

is that after the car heats up and the thermo opens? or when its running and cold? i thought it was supposed to be when the car is hot but some guy today told me otherwise?

I'm not sure what the right answer to your question is but I've always done mine cold and never had any problems.

Do it with the thermostat open, that way if you did get any air trapped in the block, it will escape. You can start it cold, and just let the thermostat open.
