Oil pressure flutter
I noticed the other day that when I accelerate harder than normal driving warrants(not WOT, just spirited), the oil pressure gauge drops a little bit as I'm accelerating in each gear. When I let off to upshift, it comes back and goes a little higher than usual. Sometimes, it'll flutter between 35-50psi at a steady highway speed. Do I need to be concerned???
Also, I still get pinging above 4500 rpm(91-octane MINIMUM), and at off-idle acceleration. The PCM pulls timing when it's off idle, but WOT it does nothing, or can't do anything, about it. Any ideas?
