SLP lid question...
SLP lid question... hey guys...first off i hope this is in the right section so if it isn't just let me know for further questions...today i bought an slp lid off my cousin to put onto my 02 Ram Air but after i bought it i got to thinkin that maybe he sold me the "wrong year" lid. My car is a 2002 and i'm thinkin that there was a lid on the slp website to fit like the 98-99 models and the 00-02 models. Could you guys fill me in as to what the actual differences are? Also...if it is the wrong lid i will more than likely be selling it on here to just go ahead and buy me a new one just in case any of you guys are interested...if it's the wrong one i'll let it go for a great deal...thanks guys...i'll be back in a bit to check up with the responses...
I think one had a hole on the right side of the lid for emissions or something like that.
Either way I took all emission BS off my car and just plugged the hole on the right side with a big black rubber cork that I got from the special projects section at your local Lowe's.

On the 00-02 lid there is a fitting for the AIR pump, if you want to put it on an earlier car, get a plug that fits over the fitting, if it doesn't have the fitting, you can always get a breather filter to fit in the end of the hose (autozone or whatever your local parts house is should have one)
