Default Shudder

2001 ws6 m6 52,000 miles bolt on mods.

I changed my plugs and wires about 7,000 miles ago and ever since I have this shudder upon low rpm accleration. So I want to check the plugs and wires. Is there a easlier way then just replacing everything again. I heard something about removing one wire at a time to test them, hows this work excatly, advice?

Another thing I don't get any code on the dash, should I if there is something wrong with the plugs/wires?

Thanks alot

If you are getting an actual misfire it should put out a code...

I'm sure you have but,its worth mentioning.Have you double checked all the plugs and wires to make sure nothing popped off?Sometimes a wire can look as if it is still on when in fact it never snapped in.

I have also seen plugs back off if the didn't get torqued properly..

If it wasn't doing this before the swap,I would test each wire by swapping one new wire at a time with the old ones...If it is the wire/wires you should hit it sooner or later by doing this...or in the process find a problem with a plug or something...Also double check your gaps as you go.

Just a couple of ideas man...Good luck

Yeah I thought I double checked everything well enough a while back, I hope I don't have to end up doing a complete swap of plugs/wires again trying to find out the problem. I am tossing around the idea of see if I have a bad fuel pump.

Personally,if I had the choice between the fuel pump (and all involved in swapping one...) and swapping out the wires...I would REALLY prefer to go after the wires first...

Well I checked the fuel pressure and its fine, I think maybe I should check the timing, what do you all think?
