not charging!!!
I had a charging problem recently. finally after trying everything i thought was wrong i took off the positive terminal and it was corroded. cleaned it and the ground beside it (i have a 95, may be different on ls1) and no charging problems since.
when u start the car up take the battery cable off, i know this works with my s10....if ur cars holding its own charge and ur alternator is good, it wont cut off....if it does then u know whats up....and yea like the other guys said check the terminals, might have to bust out some coke cola...
