Is my Alternator dying ?? ?? ?? Ok most of the LS1 guru`s know all kinds of facts about LT1`s as well, anyways for some reason the LT1 car kept dying even after jumping it off in a day it would be drained again. We checked all wires and no luck. Bought a new battery and it worked great for 3 days then same thing and I had to jump it. Advance tested it and said its putting out 13.5 volts when it should be putting out 14.5 or higher. Would this cause this and if so is it a sign the alternator is going. I have only experienced one alternator problemin my life and it went completely out one day on my IROC not gradually.
