Question about My SS's engine computer
Question about My SS's engine computer Over the past weekend I had many parts on and off of the car. I did an LS7 clutch swap and changed to poly motor mounts.
Well, when I finally got it all back together and turned it on, the car idled really weird. It reminded me of my grandpa's '91 chevy 454 dually and the way it would idle when cold. The revs would drop really really low and then rev up then drop then rev then drop. The a/c would just about kill it but it never really bogged. If I held the revs at a normal idle range, it felt fine.
So, nervous I was gonna break something or that I had forgot to put it all back together after so much was removed for the mount swap, I shut it off.
I went about my business of putting the console back together, gave it about 5 min, and cranked it up again. It started and ran fine.
