Banging noise

Banging noise When I accelrate quickly sometimes I hear a noise as if a rock is flying up in my wheel well, it also sounds like a bang or a pop coming from the middle of my car. I recently changed out my starter, but i would say its doubtful that it has anything to do with that. Any ideas on what this may be?
does it make the noise when you hit bumps?
I had a problem similar to yours, and i replaced the tranny mount, and the torque arm bushing, and here it was the exhaust banging against the driveshaft safety crossmember thing
