question about headlights....

question about headlights.... ive read through but cant find the thread about a headlight not going up or down at all.
it did work semi well. it would sometimes come up and go down. then it would get out of sync... not their is no movement at all or noise. i have to raise it and lower manually. does this mean i need to buy a new headlight motor assembly or is it electrical?

has anyone ever had the side opposite the shaft cover blow off so that the gears freewheel. i put a new motor in this girls car because that happened and now a month later the same side happened again? also i watched that video and hes channging the motor the hard way. the way i do it , its only 4 bolts. the 2 10 mm ones at the back of the whole assembly and just raise the car up eye level and reach up behind the lights and there are 2 more 10mm nuts , while your in there unplug the power. you just undo that little access panel , the one for changing the blimker bulb, and the whole thing comes out in one piece. that way you dont have to realign anything.
