wierd noise. What is it?

OK, i have a 97 z28, lt1. When i try to slide the back end around a corner when i am turning left, the posi works good and everything is great, but when i try to do it when i turn right, it makes this howling noise and only my passenger tire will spin. Whats the deal? How can i fix it? Please PM me with an answer. Thanks

mine used to do the reverse of what yours is doing

I added posi additive to the diff and fixed it.

i did add the posi additive. before i would only get one tire all the time now i get two but just on left turns.

our cars just have a limited slip differential, not a true posi, meaning our right tire is the drive tire, but transfers power to the left tire under slippage. the left tire isnt going to spin on a right hand turn as much because it's already turning faster than the right hand tire. if anything, your rear end oil needs to be changed. that may stop the howling, but it the only cure for your "one tire spinning" problem is a new differential.
