1 Honk, or 2?
1 Honk, or 2? Today i just noticed that my horn honks once when i hit the lock button on the keyless entry. Before today it honked 2 times. Is this just a sign the battery in the keypad needs to be replaced?

Hmm, it could be my hatch, i washed the car today and opened the hatch to get my cleaning supplies out of the back and didn't shut it very tight. I will check it tomorrow.

Ok, checked it this morning, the hatch wasnt closed tight enough. Honks twice again 
My hatch closes fine, just kinda shut it like the hood. What does yours do to make it a bitch to close? I know it rattles alot going over bumps and such, but i guess this is a common problem..

i have to slam mine to close it and when i pop it open i sometimes have to pull up on the spoiler to get it to come up..

Jakson, the reason yours doent "pop up" is because the all the 98's do is unlatch it, 99+ their trunks actually open an inch or so when the button is pressed, nothing wrong with yours, just a different design. Oh and sometimes the carpet can get caught on the little switch by the latch and hold it, and the computer will still think the hatch is open and only honk once.
If I have a 98, could I put in the springs that the 99+ use to have it raise up a little? There's nothing more annoying than coming out of a store with a big armful of stuff and having to open the hatch and juggle around whatever it is i'm carrying.
