Default Window Problem (NOT MOTOR) Help!

well after changing out my window motor a few days later my window started acting funny.
While rolling up the window it would go up a few inches then stops and it starts making a grinding noise, so what i do is pull up the window with my hand and then start rolling it up again, does the same thing goes up a few inches then stops, and starts with the grinding noise...and when i roll it down it rolls down and then drops a few inches the goes down normally, then drops a few inches again....
Anyone know what this could be, and what i could do??
Thanks for any help

sounds like you probably have some teeth missing from a gear

It is only one of 2 things wrong. Either the motor was not installed flush on the regulator or the regulator is bad. If this problem was not there before you put the motor in then you need to make sure you have the motor on completely flush.
