Turn Signal Problem Both turn signals on my Trans am have quit working. The front marker lights usually stay on at all times, but they no longer come on when the car is running like they should; however, they will come on when I turn my headlights on. So I know that the bulbs are not burned out, I checked the fuse and it was fine. My blinker lights will only come on when I turn my headlights on, but the turn signal still will not blink. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
Check the harness where the bulbs plug into... My drivers side goes out occasionally and then comes back to life.. Pick up the new harness and see what happens,, that is what I am going to try.
There are two filaments in the DRL / Turn Signal bulbs. The brighter one is for the DRL's and Turn signals, the dimmer one is for the parking lights ONLY (the ones that come on with your headlights). Replace the bulbs and inspect the sockets for any rust / corrosion. Just for good measure, use some Dilectric Grease when installing the new bulbs.

Thanks for the replies! I just took the bulbs out, but both filaments in each bulb are fine. The lights will only come on when I turn on my headlights or foglights, they will not come on as DRL's or blink when I use the turn signal. There was a lot of rain the other day and a lot of moisture did get into the lens, but the bulbs aren't blown. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
