When you say "rearview" do you mean the interior rearview or the rear/sideview mirrios on the doors?
If you mean the interior one, I don't think there is any way to replace just the glass.

yes the interior one...how hard is it to take the wires out for the lighting and reinstall into another

They updated the design in '01 and that's the mirror you get when you order one for any year 4th gen now. You will need to order a wiring harness adaptor for the new one to work. The dealer can get all that for you, the adaptor part number should be listed as a 'required' part when they look up the mirror for your year.
Option B is to get one off a parts car that's a '94-'00 model year F-body. It will be identicle and require no wiring adaptors.
