Reinstalling A/C I'm putting my A/C back in (removed old compressor and lines to replace w/ a working compressor).
I hear you have to pull a vacuum in the system before you fill it. Is that true? How do you do it?

you should flush the system too, never hurts. You can get a cheap vacuum pump at harbor freight that runs off compressed air. Alot of people just steal a compressor out of an old refrigerator or window ac unit also.
