The Rack Squeaks because of the coolant leak???

The Rack Squeaks because of the coolant leak??? Today some dumb tech at a gas station that replaced the rack and pinion a year ago is trying to tell me that the rack and pinion squeaks (which only happens while the wheel is all the way to the right or left) because the water pump is leaking coolant onto it. Sounds like
