Have you ever had one of the F-body captive nuts fail below its rated torque? I was reinstalling my transmission support following a clutch replacement. The four mounting bolts are supposed to be tightened to 66 lb ft. Two of the four felt solid at the rated torque but two others went spongy at about 50 lb ft. It could be the bolts - right now I'm too bummed to check.
